Aspiring Educators Experience
The Aspiring Educators Experience provides prospective students with a comprehensive two-hour immersion into our professional learning environment. Through this structured tour and presentation, potential members observe classroom instruction and pedagogical standards firsthand, gaining a definitive vision of the journey toward becoming a future leader in education.
Dates: January 21, 2026 and February 4, 2026
Student-led presentations delivered to Child Development and across diverse classrooms provide a compelling overview of the Aspiring Educators program. These impactful sessions showcase the professional advantages of membership, encouraging prospective students to join a community dedicated to educational excellence and leadership development.

Educators Rising Fall Conference
Aspiring Educators attended the Fall Conference at Millersville University where they had the chance to network with other Educators Rising Students and learn updated information from professionals in the education field.Â

Educators Rising State Conference and Competitions
Aspiring Educators will attend the 2026 State Conference and Competitions where we will have 7 students competing.Â

Educators Rising National Conference and Competitions
Students attended the National Conference during the summer of 2025 and hope to attend the 2026 Conference as well
SkillsUSA Local and State Competitions
Aspiring Educators attended the SkillsUSA Fall Leadership Conference along with the District Competitions.  Two students will represent us at the State level in April.Â

SkillsUSA National Competition
Aspiring Educators were represented at the SkillsUSA National Competition in June of 2025.  Aspiring Educator Avery Waszo brought home a Gold Medal.Â

PNC PARK SIGNING EVENT
Aspiring Educators have been invited to be part of an event held at PNC Park where students and colleges/employers are recognized for the commitments students have made before they have even graduated.  In 2025 a student was recognized for their commitment to Geneva College and in 2026 a student will be recognized for their commitment to Seton Hill University

CWCTC SIGNING EVENT
Every year all Aspiring Educators who have committed to Post Secondary Education are recognized along with their family and officials from the college at an annual signing event sponsored by CWCTC and Educators Rising.Â

POLICE/STUDENT RELATIONSHIP DAY
An Aspiring Educator created, designed, planned and implemented this day to improve community relationships among students and local police officers.Â
COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING MEETING
Aspiring Educators were invited to be part of the Comprehensive Planning Meeting at Yough School District.  Students were able to be a voice in the planning of the future of the district and also re-write the school's mission statement.Â
YOUTH ARTS NIGHT PLANNING COMMITTEE
Students served on the planning committee for Youth Arts Night.  They were able to add their ideas and help plan the event to make it a fun and exciting event for all!Â
